Sermon preached by the Reverend Mr. Davies in January, 1884, summarizing the history of Fayetteville Presbyterian (U. S.) Church from its organization in 1873, together with other historical and biographical sketches pertaining to the history of the congregation and to the life and ministry of Davies, its pastor from 1874 until his retirement in 1902.

The collection contains seven scrapbooks of materials relating to Jake Drake's baseball career, including with the Springfield (Mo.) Cardinals, the Fayetteville (Ark.) Merchants, and the Fayetteville (Ark.) Chicks. Six scrapbooks primarily contain clippings, but also include some fliers, posters, and a certificate. One scrapbook primarily contains photographs of baseball as well as of Drake's friends and family.

The scrapbooks were created by the Fayetteville chapter in order to document the activities of the club. They include newspaper clippings, photographs, and programs pertaining primarily to local club events, but state, regional, and national Business and Professional Women's Club affairs are also included. Scrapbooks for May 1946 - Dec 1964 are missing.

The ledger contains handwritten minutes of the Council meetings from April 11, 1883 to December 12, 1887.

The record book contains Constitution, By-laws, and minutes of the Fayetteville City Hospital Auxiliary, 1909-1916; roll of members 1912-1913; expense report 1909; inlaid typed explanatory note by Elizabeth D. Ellis; and undated newspaper clipping reporting about the first six-month City Hospital's operation.

Fayetteville Commercial College notebook containing handwritten notes on travel in the United States, including in Arkansas and California. Entries consist primarily of place names, rather than detailed descriptions. Handwritten on the cover is "Mrs. W. S. [or D.] Wilson."

The records of the Fayetteville Evergreen Cemetery Association include five ledgers containing financial information, names of lot owners, and minutes of meetings. The records also include correspondence and other papers kept by association secretary Vera Hall, deeds to cemetery property, lot owner deeds, and maps.

This collection includes meeting minutes, annual "State of the Meeting" reports, attendance records, and other documentation concerning the Fayetteville Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends.

Materials will be added to the collection as new materials are received, so researchers are encouraged to consult the collection for any additions.

The collection consists of yearbooks, photocopies of newspaper articles, minutes of the meetings, membership lists, and three audio cassettes with the club members' interviews conducted by Lois J. Imhoff.

The records consist chiefly of the secretary's notes, which include minutes of meetings and some correspondence. The records also include an incomplete set of yearbooks and two scrapbooks, the first of which has been removed from its original binder. The records also include three photographs of city park cleanup activities in 1972.

Materials include correspondence, by-laws, meeting minutes, receipts, yearbooks, newspaper clippings, and gardening information. Additional materials will be periodically added as they are received.

The collection contains 1969-1972 issues of the Fayetteville High School student newspaper, the Fayetteville Register; correspondence from Arkansas politicians in response to issues of the Register that were sent to them; and one issue of the Arkansas Traveler, the University of Arkansas student newspaper.

These records pertain to the social, economic, and political problems Fayetteville, Arkansas faced in its effort to develop and implement a comprehensive wastewater management program. All records are photocopies of original correspondence, memos, reports, statements, and clippings kept by the Fayetteville Board of Directors and the Citizens Advisory Committee.
