Scope and Content Note

The records consist chiefly of the secretary's notes, which include minutes of meetings and some correspondence. The records also include an incomplete set of yearbooks and two scrapbooks, the first of which has been removed from its original binder. The records also include three photographs of city park cleanup activities in 1972.

Biographical Note

The Fayetteville Garden Club (Washington County, Arkansas), established in 1932, is a women's club dedicated to city beautification. Projects include park cleanups and planting flowers in public places. The club is federated with the National Council of State Garden Clubs, Inc., the Arkansas Federation of Garden Clubs, and the Fayetteville Council of Garden Clubs.
