Two "Certificates of Constant" for Lord Kelvin's electric balance no. 440, issued November 13, 1895 at Lord Kelvin's Standardizing Laboratory, Glasgow and signed by Kelvin. Relate to engineering equipment in use at University of Arkansas in 1895. Thomson passed away in 1907 at his estate in Largs, Ayrshire, Scotland.
