Negatives
Twenty postcard photographs of people and places in and near Rosboro (Pike County). The Bardwell photographs were taken by B. Bardwell and his nephew Carney Bardwell, Rosboro, Arkansas, from about 1910 to 1926. The photographs are all 3 1/4" x 5 1/4" and are printed on the verso for use as postcards. Descriptive material was included for most of the photographs, and is incorporated into the description of each photograph.

The papers consist of correspondence regarding the upcoming contest, publications pertaining to the contest, and informational and advertising material apparently given to delegates and contestants. Most advertising material not having to do with poultry raising has been removed from the collection.

The records consist chiefly of the secretary's notes, which include minutes of meetings and some correspondence. The records also include an incomplete set of yearbooks and two scrapbooks, the first of which has been removed from its original binder. The records also include three photographs of city park cleanup activities in 1972.

This series consists of individual and group photographs of Seamster and Fannie Presley Seamster. Photographs of their children Bernal, Nancy Louise Seamster, and Margaret Jane Seamster Schwieger, of Margaret Seamster Schwieger's husband Sam Schwieger, and of the Seamster grandchildren are present, as are other family pictures. All photographs are black and white unless otherwise noted. Photographs are listed in chronological order, with dated photographs first.

The material consists of photocopies of newspaper and journal clippings, excerpts from books and pamphlets, correspondence, and research notes, as well as photographs of Clarke, his wife, and many of the buildings he designed. The material was collected by Pamela Dubbell in the course of preparing an article about Clarke for the Northwest Arkansas Morning News. Photocopies of this article are also included.

Included in this series are photographs pertaining to Smith's family, the WPA, the Capitol Press Club, and other subjects. Also included are one broadside and two drawings. Photograph size is listed height first. Photographs are black and white unless noted. Most are arranged chronologically with undated photographs last. The "Portraits of Others," however, are arranged alphabetically.

Photographs of buildings, people, and daily life activities at the Newllano, Louisiana, cooperative colony and the Ink, Arkansas, cooperative colony. All photographs are black and white and unmounted. Dimensions have been recorded height by width, and locations and dating, when in doubt, have been indicated by brackets.

This series contains photographs and negatives of the Upchurch and Miller families, and Fredrica Upchurch's students at Duval Elementary. Other photographs include Hackett and Fort Smith schoolchildren, students at Arkansas State Normal School in Conway, Christ the King school in Fort Smith, and photographs and slides from Grace and Fredrica's retirement parties. Completing the series are post cards of Fort Smith and the University of Arkansas.
