Scope and Content Note
The collection consists mostly of family photographs and albums kept by Lettie Comstock Carney. Also included are photographs of the Carney Appliance Centers, certificates, and a cash book.
The photographs and albums include Comstock and Carney family portraits and snapshots, pictures of Carney Appliance Centers, snapshots of activities, and many scenes and people from Rudy and Uniontown, particularly 1915-1940. All of the albums are in poor condition, with pages loose and loose pictures. At the time of donation, some information was gathered about pictures in the albums; these comments have been transferred to acid-neutral paper and laid in the albums in the appropriate places.

Biographical Note
Lettie Comstock was born July 26, 1901 in Uniontown (Crawford County), Arkansas, the daughter of J. M. Comstock and Ellen Wood Comstock.
