The collection consists of minute books of the Society and of the Women's Association (Vera Skinner Circle) of Cane Hill United Presbyterian Church, as well as of the financial records of the Society.

It also contains the membership rosters, lists of deacons and priests, marriages, and adult and infant baptisms from 1870 to 1909; these lists were updated through 1919 in the case of members leaving. The meeting minutes record when members joined or left the church. They also document occasional hearings on members who engaged in "unchristian" behavior, such as public intoxication or dancing. Church from its organization in 1873, together with other historical and biographical sketches pertaining to the history of the congregation and to the life and ministry of Davies, its pastor from 1874 until his retirement in 1902.

Scope and Content Note The Kingston Presbyterian Church Documents consists of letters, and 123 photocopied glass slides, dated from 1921 - 1925. Papers concerning the Kingston Church were found at the First United Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville, Arkansas February 15, 2003. The records contain a printed history of the church, six volumes of church minutes and Presbyterian Session records, and four groups of loose-leaf minutes. The history of the church was created as a memento for Homecoming Sunday, May 7, 1989. The church met in celebration of the two hundredth anniversary of the first General Assembly of Presbyterians in the United States. Volumes 1-5 are also available on 1 reel of microfilm.
