Biographical / Historical
The Moose family of Arkansas included family members in Conway County, and particularly in Morrilton.
Family members include Virginia Darden Moose, the first president of the Arkansas Association of Women Lawyers; ambassador and diplomat James Sayle Moose, Jr.; diplomat Richard M. Moose; and writer Margaret Davis Moose. Extended family members include poet John Gould Fletcher and pioneer preacher William Wilson Stevenson.
