4 items. Copies and a transcript of a diary kept by Nannie Hudson Stillwell Jackson (1854-1908) of Desha County. Margaret Jones Bolsterli edited and wrote an introduction to the diary which has been published as Vinegar Pie and Chicken Bread: A Woman's Diary of Life in the Rural South, 1890-1891 (University of Arkansas Press, 1982).

Scope and Content Note Materials relating to the family of Joseph Hubbard Jones of Desha County, Arkansas. The bulk of the collection consists of family photographs, and includes images from a 1916 flood in Watson, Arkansas. Also included is a positive photocopy of reminiscences entitled "Sketch of My Army Life from 1861 to 1865," by Corporal Joseph Hubbard Jones, Company D, First Arkansas Infantry.
