Maude K. Coffin and Fairy Coffin Lynd Papers
This collection contains a manuscript and rough drafts of Maude Coffin's memoirs "Pioneer Days," genealogical information, family papers, photographs, and clippings. Material concerning Fairy Coffin Lynd includes biographical information on her work as a soil scientist. Of special note are late nineteenth and early twentieth century photographs and photographic post cards of St. Paul and Fayetteville.
St. Paul, Arkansas Photographs
The photographs were taken by JoBelle Schrillo's maternal uncle, W. V. Davis, of the Electric Studio, Springdale, Arkansas, and one bears the stamp of the studio. Four of the photographs are in a long format, 9 by 3 inches. The fifth is 5 1/4 by 3 1/4 inches. Descriptions, including names of some of the persons in the picture, were written on the verso of each item by Ms. Schrillo.
Alpha Williams Papers
The collection consists of correspondence, photographs, scrapbook pages, and other materials related to Alpha (Alphie) Williams and the Williams family of St. Paul, Arkansas. Included are materials related to the World War II service of her brothers, Earl and Mack Williams.
