The collection consists of photographs, correspondence, a diary, genealogy research, and other materials related to the Cazort family of Johnson County, Arkansas, and particularly to Pauline Cazort Berry. Included are materials related to the Cazort Brothers general stores, to the town of Lamar, and to Ozone Mountain and Petit Jean Mountain, where the family vacationed.

Scope and Content Note The correspondence pertains primarily to family matters in Tulip and elsewhere, religious concerns, business and other travel, the Civil War, emigration to California and Texas, and business matters. The business records pertain mostly to William Paisley's general stores in Dobyville and Guerdon, Arkansas.
