Farmstead plan created by Ray McKinnon for a farm in Conway County, Arkansas. Includes reviewer's notes, possibly from an Arkansas Agricultural Experiment Station employee.

Information contained in the plan includes a plan for future cash crops (beef cattle, cotton, irish potatoes, and sweet potatoes), a description of the farm, farm layout sketches, crop production statistics, expenses, and other data.

Two copies of typewritten letter from Z. T. Hedges of Pine Lands (Hamburg, Ark.) expressing interest in purchasing "land under Soldier's Additional Land Claims." Handwritten on verso of each are purchase/accounting notes for groceries and other supplies. In the late 1890s, Hedges partnered with Ed C. Wright to buy up land claims of Union Civil War veterans in Western Arkansas.
