Letter from Mrs. Eugene Sheer to Miss Mary Atkins and Mrs. Atkins of Lincoln, Illinois, handwritten on illustrated Buckstaff Bath House Company stationery. Mrs. Sheer describes her visit to Hot Springs, Arkansas, and the surrounding area, including the baths, auction houses, the orchestra, and an ostrich farm.

Biographical Note
While the collection materials only reference Mrs. Eugene Sheer by her married name, it is possible that the creator is Katherine Sheer of Lincoln, Illinois. Katherine Sheer was born January 27, 1868, to Anna Rose and Jonathan Combs. She married Eugene Sheer. Katherine Sheer passed away February 22, 1937.
