Biographical / Historical
Sigma Xi is a scientific professional honor society established at Cornell University in 1886. The Sigma Xi Club was formed at the University of Arkansas in 1928. The club became an official chapter for the state of Arkansas in 1953. In 1962, the Chapter divided into two chapters, one based in Fayetteville and the other in Little Rock.
