Some folders depict ethnic, racial, and gender insensitivity that was once commonplace in American society. Such portrayals were wrong then and are wrong today. While not representing the views of the University of Arkansas today, these records are being presented as they were originally created, because to do otherwise would be the same as claiming these prejudices never existed.
Manuscripts, newspaper clippings, printed materials, postcards, photograph and videocassette documenting the June 23, 1980 Chi Omega Heritage Pilgrimage rededication ceremony at the Greek theater on the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, campus.

The papers consist primarily of minutes of the regular meetings of the Delta Iota Chapter, 1914-1959. Also included are Call Meeting, House Meeting and Officer Council Minutes as well as reports and rolls. In addition, the papers contain By-laws, a Petition to the Delta Delta Delta Fraternity for incorporation and correspondence.
Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, Iota Chapter, papers include a scrapbook of clippings, photographs, etc., 1973-1982, with cardboard exhibit (1961-62) laid in; newsletters (Iota Items), April 1973 - May 1984; and year books, 1963/64 - 1979/80.
The records comprise yearbooks, 1948-2001 (incomplete run); newsletters, Dec 1959-Winter 2000 (incomplete run); a 1973 Directory; and one folder with membership information.
The program contains 8 pages print, holograph, in ivory-colored celluloid covers with pencil on silk cord and Kappa Alpha lettering in gilt on front cover. The subsequent pages contain the Order of  Dances, Engagements, with handwritten names, list of Active Members, and the name of the publisher, E. A. Wright, Philadelphia.
The papers consist of chapter minutes; the historian's annual report; constitution and by-laws; membership lists, information sheets and cards; and correspondence as well as office papers, educational material, and two scrapbooks documenting the history of the University of Arkansas Chapter from 1970-1974.

Videotape of a panel discussion sponsored by Sigma Delta Chi (Gamma Epsilon Chapter) and held at Kimpel Hall, University of Arkansas, Fayetteville campus, on October 18, 1988, concerning the competition between the Arkansas Gazette and the Arkansas Democrat newspapers in Little Rock. John Robert Starr served on the panel moderated by Robert Douglas.
