Bank notes, bills of exchange, and treasury warrants of the United States, the Town of Fayetteville (1842), the State of Arkansas, and the Confederate States of America (1861-1864), and the German Republic (1922), together with Arkansas and Confederate war bonds (1861-1864).

Materials in the Money and Bonds Collection were initially collected by the University of Arkansas Libraries from various donors and vendors, 1937-1939. Other items were added by Special Collections staff in 1990. When known, specific sources of acquisition have been noted at the item level.
