Scope and Content Note

This collection includes the original 2" quad tape, a U-Matic copy, two VHS copies, and an audio recording on cassette of "Fulbright: 30 Years", a retrospective on the political career of Arkansas Senator J. William Fulbright produced by Barnes. The collection also includes drafts of scripts, taped interviews, transcripts, photographs, and research materials used in the film’s production. A digital copy of "Fulbright: 30 Years" is also available for research use.

Biographical Note

James Craig Barnes was an independent television film producer who worked for KHTV Channel 11, Little Rock in the 1970s. In May 1975, Barnes produced “Fulbright: 30 Years” an hour-long retrospective on the political career of Arkansas Senator J. William Fulbright.
