The collection consists of diaries and reminiscences from 1920s-1990s. Much of the collection is personal correspondence and correspondence concerning Gilstrap's involvement with the Arkansas Department of Agriculture. Also included in the collection, is Gilstrap's family genealogy materials, several family photographs.
