Shinn, and John Franklin Shinn to family while they were serving in the Confederate Army; topics include camp conditions; troop movements; and food and supplies. Other materials include documents pertaining to John F. Walker's service as Chaplain of the 53rd Regiment of Tennessee Volunteers; George Wuest business records; and other family correspondence.
