Contains 36 folders of printed material concerning Republican national conventions, including official programs, temporary and permanent delegate rolls, entertainment programs, and calendar of contests, with accompanying briefs; Osro Cobb and George Leonard Mallory correspondence, together with newspaper clippings, supportive petitions, rosters, and other campaign materials, concerning the Herbert Clark Hoover presidential campaign of 1928, especially the Arkansas Hoover-for-President League; publications of the Republican National Committee, editorials, clippings, news releases, leaflets, campaign booklets, addresses, and broadsides pertaining to the 1932 national political campaign; and clippings and small amount of correspondence concerning the national political scene, 1950-53, especially the 1952 presidential campaign. File 12 includes correspondence regarding the Red Cross and Southeast Arkansas flood victims of 1927. File 13 contains a small amount of correspondence related to John Ellis Martineau's appointment to the federal bench in the Western District of Arkansas. Dates are: 1915-1940 and no date. Correspondents include: Milton Drew Bowers, William Morgan Butler, Dwight David Eisenhower, Rush LaMotte Holland, Joseph B. Kealing, Harry Hilton Myers, Heartsill Ragon, and Wallace Townsend.
