This series contains correspondence concerning Baker's academic and artistic career as teacher, author, playwright, and director.  A large portion of the correspondence relates to the New Play Series, and there is a lively correspondence with the playwrights Christopher Blake and George Savage.  Significant correspondents include Charles Hillman Brough, Clyde T.
