Scope and Content Note The Rebecca Stirman Davidson Papers have been divided into two series. Series 1 contains letters, clippings, and a photograph pertaining to Rebecca, her brother Ras, and her husbands James Trott and Benjamin Davidson. Of particular interest in this series are the letters of Ras Stirman to his sister during the Civil War, describing his combat experiences at Wilson's Creek and Corinth, Mississippi.
