The collection consists of 68,200 3" x 5" typewritten notecards prepared by Claude Louis Gibson as part of his 1976 Ph.D. thesis, "An annotated index to the Frank Arthur Swinnerton correspondence," which was an index to correspondence in the Frank Swinnerton Papers (MS Sw62), as well as sheets (4"x6" ) of microfiche that were filmed from the original notecards.
