Letters and completed questionnaires, Jan. 27-Feb. 23, 1981 and undated, solicited and received by University of Arkansas graduate student Pamela Webb, in the course of conducting research for a course paper, from respondents in Arkansas and elsewhere who participated in the "back-to-the­land movement in 1931 and 1932" and which describe social and economic aspects of personal, familial, and domestic life in rural Arkansas during the depression years of the 1930s.
