Scope and Content Note The papers pertain to coal mining activities in the Hartford and Excelsior areas of Sebastian County, Arkansas, between the 1910's and the 1950's. Records in boxes 1-4 contain business records. The business is not identified, but is presumed to be that of the Boyd Excelsior Fuel Company or its descendant.
