Seven sets of aerial photographs created by the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department, representing the counties of Sebastian, Washington, Crawford, Garland, Grant, Hot Springs, and Saline. The photographs are 10" x 10" black-and-white photographic prints, providing coverage at a scale of 1:20,000.

Scope and Content Note The collection consists mostly of family photographs and albums kept by Lettie Comstock Carney. Also included are photographs of the Carney Appliance Centers, certificates, and a cash book. These papers were collected both as a family record and as a chronicle of Uniontown. They contain both family papers and photographs and materials pertaining to the Uniontown community.

The Lula Jane Howell Papers contain correspondence, the diary of Lula Jane (Comstock) Howell, a history of the community of Uniontown, a history of the Poage (spelled variously "Poague") family by Lula (Lucinda) Jane Poage Howell, and a collection of photographs.
