Four letters and one postal card, dated from England and from France May 12 to November 28, 1918, from Lieutenant Kindley to his cousin, Uther Kindley of Gravette, Arkansas, pertaining to his experiences in the Air Service, United States Army, together with typewritten transcripts of "Combats in Air" reports filed by Kindley July 13 to October 28, 1918, detailing his destruction of enemy aircraft in aerial combat while on duty in France with the 148th Aero Squadron, American Air Service.
