Scope and Content Note The papers comprise correspondence, military records, newspapers, photographs, and memorabilia. Most of the correspondence contains Stockley's letters which he wrote while in the army to his mother, Mrs. Charles Stockley, living at Marion, Arkansas. Many of these letters are the "V-Mail" letter format. There are also a few letters Stockley wrote to his sister Mary and one letter to Mr. and Mrs. Stockley by Capt. David W. Parkes.
