Scope and Contents The collection consists of four audiocassette tapes containing oral history interviews conducted by Wallace Hopper related to the Baker-Chilton family of southern Missouri (particularly Reynolds and Carter Counties), as well as transcripts for the first two tapes. Interviewees include Hopper's in-laws, John Chilton (1888-1979) and Flossie Melissa Baker Chilton (1889-1974).
