Scope and Content Note Emma Eugene Ramsaur Shuford's school autograph book and eighteen letters, most of which are from Emma to her father, John Franklin Ram­saur (1819-1904) of Hamburg, Arkansas, written while she attended school in North and South Carolina during the Civil War.
