Scope and Content Note Twenty pieces of correspondence between Otto Bird and Ezra Pound, poet and literary critic, comprise the largest part of this collection. Pound's early correspondence with Bird chiefly concerns Bird's study of the medieval Italian poet Guido Cavalcanti.
