Kelley, levee and ditching contractors, praying issuance of auditor's warrants to replace voided warrants issued in 1861 in payment due claimants by the State of Arkansas; attaching 45 voided warrants as Exhibit "A"; and bearing the endorsement of Governor Clayton, May 25, 1871, referring claim to Hon. Jno. R. Montgomery, Atty. Genl., for examination.

Telegraph agent's delivery copy of telegram dated at Van Buren, Arkansas March 19, 1861, from Van Buren merchant Pennywit to convention delegates Jesse Turner and Hugh F. Thomason, Little Rock, Arkansas, approving the action of the Arkansas Secession Convention and the "immortal thirty nine who...voted down the ordinance of Secession."
Two receipts and a notebook, 1853-1869, recording recipes, verses, finances, genealogical notes, and miscellaneous memoranda recorded by Mary Elizabeth Birnie Coster Vann of Fort Smith (Sebastian County). Other, unidentified persons also may have made entries in the notebook.
Ledger and sales journals recording the commercial transactions of D. C. Williams, general merchant of Pine Bluff and Van Buren, Arkansas. The entries for July, 1842 through October, 1844 pertain to Williams' business in Pine Bluff. Leaving that city in 1845, he settled in Van Buren, and entries for the period November, 1846 through August, 1869 reflect his conduct of business there in partnership, from time to time, with Edward Cunningham, John Henry, and William Whitfield.
Letter dated Van Buren December 23, 1840 from S. P. Woodruff to "Mr. Wood," to collect the cash equivalent of a hat owed to Woodruff by Wood in accordance of a wager on the Pennsylvania election returns.
Autographed letter signed, dated Little Rock, AR August 15, 1851 from Woodruff to Alexander McLean of Van Buren, AR pertaining to the shipment of "the press & seal for your district court, which I ordered for you..."
