Biographical Note
The Iris Garden Club was organized in May 1947 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. It was federated as part of the Fayetteville Council of Garden Clubs in 1954. Meetings involved poetry readings, presentations from club members, and other activities.

Acquisition Information
The Iris Garden Club Records were donated to the Special Collections Department by the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History in 2009. At least two of these yearbooks belonged to club member Alice Shelton.
