Documents, including printed materials and positive copies on glass plates, related to Gerald L. K. Smith, a right-wing politician and founder of the Christian Nationalist Crusade and the America First Party. Glass plate documents are partially, and possibly entirely, exhibits presented by Smith's manager, John Rinderman, possibly as part of testimony to Congress or to the FBI.

Arrangement of the Papers
Printed materials are arranged by type in four folders. Glass plates are arranged as received in a separate box.
Acquisition Information
The Gerald L.K. Smith Materials were donated to the Special Collections Department, University of Arkansas Libraries, by the University of Michigan. Additional materials (glass plates) were stored with Picture Collection materials, and were transferred to the manuscript collection in 2021; they may have also been acquired from the University of Michigan, or may have been acquired from another source, circa 1995-2005.
Processing Information
Processed by Special Collections staff; completed in 2009. Additional materials (glass plates 1-24) were incorporated by Katrina Windon in August 2021.
