Biographical Note
Kent Bonar is a State Park Naturalist in Newton County, Arkansas. He has lived in Newton county since 1972, and has been illustrating the Ozark's flora and fauna since then. He is also the chief naturalist, illustrator, and editorial contributor for the Newton County Wildlife Association. Some of the work featured in this collection is the illustration work that Bonar did on the Atlas and Annotated List of Vascular Plants of Arkansas (University of Arkansas Press, 1978). Bonar is featured in the film The Naturalist.
