The collection consists of Henry Alexander's files on the 1967/1968 Arkansas Constitutional Convention. Most papers are photocopies of unpublished reports and proposals used and/or written by various committees revising the Arkansas Constitution. Papers also contain newspaper clippings.

The Henry Alexander Papers were donated to Special Collections, University of Arkansas Libraries in December of 1983, by Dr. Robert L. Savage of the University of Arkansas Political Science Department.
