Arrangement

There was a partial arrangement scheme in the original donation. All "Plant of the Week Materials" folders were in the first box and all horticulture catalogs and brochures were in the last box. Otherwise, materials were not grouped in any particular order so the archivist re-arranged the items and folders by subject, chronologically. Original folder titles were kept and items without folders were foldered and given titles by the archivist.

The collection is arranged as follows:

Plant of the Week Materials: Box 1; Horticulture Department Materials: Box 2 Files 1-20, Horticulture Shows: Box 2 Files 21-24; Botanical Gardens: Box 2 Files 25-26; Horticulture Programs and Competitions: Box 3 Files 1-4; Arkansas Horticulture: Box 3 Files 5-17; Newsletters and Magazines: Box 3 Files 18-20; Arkansas Nursery Catalogs and Price Lists: Box 3 File 21-Box 4 File 14; Horticulture Promotional and Informational Materials: Box 4 Files 15-23; Gerald Klingaman: Box 4 Files 24-29.
