Biographical / Historical
John Frederick (Fred) Primm (1894-1979) was the son of John Frederick Primm (1854-1933) and Mary Eliza Foster Primm (1861-1927), who ran a farm in Smackover, Arkansas. Fred Primm served in Company I of the 130th Infantry Regiment, 33rd Infantry Division during World War I. He was one of eight children; his brother, Leland Primm, narrated the stories that are recorded in Virginia Stewart Primm Newsom's I Remember Once't: Stories Told by N. L. Primm.
