The collection contains the organizational records of the Clinton House Museum, including articles of incorporation, by-laws, collection records, promotional materials, photographs, financial records, and correspondence. Also included are documents and ephemera collected by the Clinton Museum related to regional tourism, including materials about other Clinton-related heritage sites in Arkansas. The collection includes both physical and born-digital materials, some of which may duplicate each other.

Biographical / Historical

The Clinton House Museum is a house museum in the former Fayetteville home of Bill and Hillary Clinton at 930 West Clinton Drive that is dedicated to interpreting the lives of the Clintons. The museum was established in 2005 by the Fayetteville Advertising and Promotion Commission; the Commission began scaling back its involvement in 2020.

Materials have been arranged by topic and by format. At the top folder level, born-digital materials have been arranged to mirror the arrangement of physical materials; however, most sub-folders of born-digital materials reflect original file groupings.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

The Clinton House Museum Records were donated to Special Collections by Stephen Smith, President of the Clinton House Museum Board, on behalf of the Museum on January 26, 2023.
