Content Description

The collection consists of studio photographs of Donna Axum Whitworth, 1964 Miss America, by Robert A. (Bob) Huff and/or David A. Huff of Bob's Studio of Photography, as well as a custom chair used as a prop in Axum's Miss America studio sessions. Photographic materials include ten 16 x 20 prints, as well as some smaller proof prints and cellulose acetate (safety) negatives. Also included are a Bob's Studio of Photography business card and instructions provided by the studio on how to care for prints.

Biographical / Historical

Bob's Studio of Photography was a Fayetteville, Arkansas photography studio specializing in portrait photography. It was founded by Robert A. "Bob" Huff (1921-1990) on Nov. 1, 1947. Bob Huff was later joined in practice, and then succeeded, by his son, David A. Huff (1949-2009). Its first location was at 25 North Block; it then moved to 18 North Block, and in 1971 to 109 North Block.
