Content Description
The collection primarily contains programs, tickets, newspaper clippings, and other materials related to events attended by Carl A. Koffler and Anne Prichard in Northwest Arkansas between 2003-2017. The most commonly represented event venues are the Walton Arts Center and the University of Arkansas. Other venues and organizations represented include Opera of the Ozarks, the OMNI Center, the Arts Center of the Ozarks, Rogers Little Theater, Butterfield Trail Village, the Springdale Performing Arts Center, the North Arkansas Symphony Guild, and the Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Washington County.
Also included is a broadside for a 1992 North Arkansas Symphony Orchestra performance, "Celebrating a New Beginning," at the Walton Arts Center.

Biographical / Historical
Carl A. Koffler (1928-2019) was a Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Army. He and his wife, Constance L. Koffler, moved to Springdale, Arkansas in 1975 after his retirement from the Army. They later moved to Butterfield Trail Village in Fayetteville in 1997. Constance Koffler passed away in 2001. While Carl Koffler lived in Northwest Arkansas, he was active in community service, including serving on the Washington County Library Board and the Board of the Single Parent Scholarship Fund, and serving as President of the Butterfield Trail Village Resident Association.
Anne W. B. Prichard was born July 14, 1937, to Ben F. and Lilie Johnson. She worked as a librarian, and as University of Arkansas Special Collections Reading Room Supervisor, before retiring in 2007. She has been involved in numerous community organizations in Northwest Arkansas, including serving on the board of the Fayetteville Public Library.

Arrangement
With the exception of a folder of undated materials, all collection materials were received in binders that had been arranged chronologically; materials have been rehoused into folders during processing, but the original binder order has been retained.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
The Carl A. Koffler and Anne Prichard Collection of Northwest Arkansas Event Materials was donated to Special Collections by Anne Prichard of Fayetteville, Arkansas on March 16, 2022. An additional item (Box 2, Folder 20) was donated by Prichard on October 20, 2023.

The collection was originally processed under the title "Anne Prichard and Carl A. Koffler Collection of Northwest Arkansas Event Materials"; this was changed to "Carl A. Koffler and Anne Prichard Collection of Northwest Arkansas Event Materials" in June 2022 at the request of the donor.
Updated by Katrina Windon in November 2023 to incorporate an additional donation (Box 2, Folder 20).
