Biographical / Historical
William Jefferson Clinton served as the 42nd president of the United States from 1993 to 2001. He served as governor of Arkansas from 1979 to 1981 and from 1983 to 1992. He was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Laws degree from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville in 1993.
