Content Description
Web archive collection created by Special Collections staff using the Archive-It software to capture websites with content related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Collecting was conducted in two major topic areas, the impact of COVID-19 on the Northwest Arkansas region and the impact of COVID-19 on international educational exchange. Sites captured include those of government organizations and officials; community and service organizations; artists and arts organizations; restaurants, grocery stores, and other businesses; schools and educational organizations; healthcare providers; and retirement communities and nursing homes. All captures are from sites available on the open Web at the time of their capture.

Arrangement
Collection contents are arranged into two series, corresponding to two topical Archive-It collections, the Northwest Arkansas and COVID-19 Web Archive and the International Educational Exchange and COVID-19 Web Archive. Each series/Archive-It collection is further arranged into topical groups.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
The COVID-19 Web Archive Collection consists of websites and web-based content identified and captured by Special Collections staff using the Archive-It software beginning in March 2020. All captures are from sites available on the open Web at the time of their capture.
Processing Information
Development, capture, and initial description of the web archive collection was contributed to by Special Collections staff, including Sam Ownbey, Melanie Griffin, Heath Robinson, Amy Allen, and Katrina Windon beginning in 2020. Finding aid created by Katrina Windon in December 2021.
