Biographical / Historical
The Center for Instructional Media and Development was founded in 1978 as part of the Division of Continuing Education. The Center was responsible for the creation of distance learning content and curriculum development, creating multimedia instructional objects using various audio-visual formats. The center later split into the Department of Media Services and the Department of Instructional Design and Support Services.
