Papers of journalist Kim Martin, primarily relating to her work as editor of The Grapevine, a Fayetteville, Arkansas-based weekly newspaper and to The Grapevine's coverage of the Fayetteville Arts Center (now the Walton Arts Center) planning process. Also included is correspondence and material related to a D.C. Circuit Court ruling on the constitutionality of "must-carry" broadcasts.

Biographical / Historical
Kim I. Martin is a Fayetteville, Arkansas-based journalist. In the 1980s, she served as editor of The Grapevine, a Fayetteville-based weekly newspaper. In the mid-1980s, she co-founded Opus One, a monthly arts publication focused on Northwest Arkansas. In the 2000s, she and Louise Montgomery founded Kaleidoscope, also an arts and performance periodical. She also served as an instructor at the University of Arkansas School of Journalism.
