Founded in 1994, the Arkansas Holocaust Education Committee is a Northwest Arkansas-based organization whose primary mission is to further understanding and knowledge of the Holocaust. These conferences frequently involve a combination of discussions led by historical researchers and teachers, media presentations, and interviews with and testimony from Holocaust survivors. The Arkansas Holocaust Education Committee is also involved in developing classroom resources and skills that can be used to teach about the Holocaust to students in area schools.
