Content Description
Photographic prints, stereoviews, and postcards, primarily of scenes in and around Marianna, Ark. Also includes a photograph of Robert Ramsey, a Memphis, Tennessee-born writer who grew up in Lee County, Arkansas, and authored works such as Fiesta and Fire in Summer, which was set in a fictional county inspired by Lee County.

Biographical / Historical
Blake Wintory is Director of Preservation at the Heritage Foundation of Williamson County, Tennessee. Wintory is an alumnus of the University of Arkansas; he served as a teaching assistant in the Anthropology Department. He later worked for the Department of Arkansas Heritage and for the Lakeport Plantation Museum.

Immediate Source of Acquisition
The Blake Wintory Collection of Photographs and Postcards was donated to Special Collections by Blake Wintory in 2012. Wintory found the Robert Ramsey photograph in a book by Ramsey that Wintory purchased at Burke's Book in Memphis, Tennessee.
Separated Materials
A Robert Ramsey novel donated by Wintory, Fire in Summer, has been cataloged as part of the Arkansas Collection (PS3535.A54 F5 c.2).
