Scope and Contents
Negative microfilm copies of letters sent to Granville Whittington of Boston, Massachusetts, from his father William, sister Irene, and brother, Hiram Abiff Whittington, a printer who emigrated to Arkansas Territory in 1826. Persons mentioned in the letters include William E. Woodruff, Robert Crittenden, and Cephas Washburn. Places from which the letters were written include Cohassett, Nantucket, and Boston, Massachusetts; and Little Rock and Hot Springs, Arkansas.
