Biographical / Historical

James Richard (Dick) Bennett is an Arkansas-based educator and peace activist. Bennet served on the faculty of the University of Arkansas English Department for 40 years until retiring in 1997. In 2001, he co-founded the OMNI Center for Peace and Justice (now the OMNI Center for Peace, Justice, and Ecology) in Fayetteville.
