199 items, principally correspondence, 1965-1970, exchanged between Arkansas poet Edsel Ford and his patroness and admirer, Kathryn Kruger Post ("Grand") of Arlington Heights, Illinois, pertaining, for the most part, to his professional career and her avocational interests in the writing of poetry. Included, however, are: one file (28 items) of correspondence, 1970-1971, exchanged between Mrs. Post and others, especially Elsa Vaught of Fayetteville, Arkansas, subsequent to Ford's death, and one file (38 items) consisting of photographs of Mrs. Post and poems, miscellaneous academic class notes, and unpublished essays written by her.

The Edsel Ford - Kathryn Kruger Post Correspondence was donated to Special Collections by Robert H. Kruger of Waukesha, Wisconsin in May 1979 and by John L. Kruger of Homewood, Illinois and William W. Kruger of Shell Knob, Missouri in 1980.
