Biographical Note

Cane Hill College was chartered in 1850 in Washington County, Arkansas, as Cane Hill Collegiate Institute. In 1852, it became known as Cane Hill College. The school operated until around 1891.

The Cane Hill College Catalogues are photocopies made from originals that were loaned to Special Collections by Robert Harold Basham of Clarksville, Arkansas in December 1968 and January 1969.
